Who is it for?
This course and exam is aimed at analysts with two years experience who are looking to undertake on site quality assurance and project management of asbestos removal and remediation projects for clients, and for those wishing to obtain a formal Asbestos Project Management qualification through the awarding body RSPH (Royal Society for Public Health).
Aims
To provide the theory, practical knowledge and skills required for asbestos project management, including contractor selection, method statements and other required documents, client liaison and also the management and inspection of asbestos works.
Assessment
The candidate is assessed on their practical competence during the course which culminates in a written exam (short answer questions). The exam is set and administered by RSPH and subject to successful completion of the exam will lead to the attainment of the certificate.

Unit One: Risks and Responsibilities Relating to Asbestos in Buildings
Unit Two: Asbestos Surveys & Management Plans
Unit Three: Requirements for Remedial Works with Asbestos Containing Materials
*Candidates should have prior knowledge of all areas which are defined within the qualification syllabus.
